Sri Dasmesh Academy set in sylvan surroundings in a holy city which might will have had words worth penning down nature poems. The Academy is ideal for facilitating intellectual, aesthetic and moral fulfilment to its denizens. The combination of knowledge and austerity makes the right man. The world is becoming complex with frightening faces trying to keep pace with the daunting tasks encompassing it. It’s here that public school students can march with their best battle armor.
Education in a public school includes everything that is capable of exerting a formative influence and causes a young person to be, at a given time, what he is. The Motto of the school “Chardi Kala” inculcates the spirit of scaling new heights and to retain the high positions by the onus of setting examples.
Sri Dasmesh Academy owes its origin to the vision and initiative of Punjab Defence and Security Relief Fund committee. This dream of the visionaries of the state became a reality on September 24, 1978 when Sri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy, then President of India laid the foundation stone of the Academy and the Academy started functioning from July, 1980.
